Winter season underway

The third season of Kirribilli Poker is now well underway.  The season includes 13 Tuesday night games, running from 6th July through 28th September.

We've made a few changes this season

Final qualification and structure

There are now only two ways of qualifying for the final:

  • Quality: Finish the season in the top 16 on the leaderboard; or
  • Quantity: Attend 12 of the 13 games.

All entrants in the final will start with equal chip stacks.

Points structure

We've also changed the way points are allocated.  First place is now worth lots more points, with points dropping off faster.

The Final

The final will be held on a Saturday afternoon, most likely in early in October.  As always, it will be a deep stacked tournament, and the club will supply prizes.

 

Autumn season closed...

Another season of poker at Kirribilli has gone and another winner has emerged.

Congratulation to Shane who, by winning the last last game of the season, managed to snatch first place on our leaderboard.

A special mention goes to:

  • Daniel L., who had a few "first times" in the last game of the season: First time final table, first time in the points, first time winning prize money!
  • Peter C., who has the highest average score (total points / number of games) for the season with 80.1

 

The season final will be played on Saturday 10th July 2010 at the Kirribilli club.
The game will start at 2PM sharp.

Summer season closed...

The last game for this season was played last night and the final scores for the summer 2010 are on the leaderboard.

Congratulation to Joey for his crushing victory with a stagering 1272 points!

The summer season's final will be played at on Saturday 17th April 2010 at the Kirribillli club.
The game will start at 2PM SHARP, with registration from 1PM.
Pre-registration possible by contacting the TD on Tuesday nights (spots for the final are limited, so pre-register!).

 

Although it is still being created and developed, you will be able to check the current leaderboard for our Tuesday night poker game by clicking on the "Leaderboard", then select the "Current Season" in our top menu.
